Here’s a thought. I go to the Ohio Linux Fest each year for The Linux Link Tech Show, but it occurred to me, why not be there in L4C capacity as well? Wouldn’t it be a nice idea to be able to perhaps hand out L4C New Testaments or some such thing while I am there? I mean, people just LOVE the giveaways. Think this is a good idea? Possible? Can you help? Contact me soon, it’s less than a month away.

Rather than entire New Testaments, you ought to consider just a Gospel of John, or maybe a book of Romans. Much less thicker, and easier to “digest” while waiting in line, or what not. I don’t know how available they are, but I used to know a really decent, and tiny Gospel of John, with a pretty, color cover that you could get by the hundreds.
Here’s a question. Has anybody written a gospel tract for “geeks”?
Not that I would recommend it here, but your comment got me thinking.

Boy, I think a gospel tract for geeks would be FANTASTIC. Just wish I were skilled enough to come up with one. Here’s a perfect avenue for someone here to help out!
As for the idea of L4C making a presence of some sort a OLF, *everything* has fallen through and I just cannot afford all the expenses myself….. Sad..

If you haven’t tried a Puppy Linux, this one might fit the bill. Comes in either a fully function Personal Edition or a safer (root limited) Kiosk Edition. ShepherdPups intended purpose is to be freely given out publically.

I had planned going to the Ohio Linux Fest this year, but then found out that our church’s annual fellowship-day/conference was on the same day.
A tract for geeks, maybe along the lines of freedom, would be most excellent.. I shall have to give that more thought.
